Barsky, Berger & Co was established in 1997 by Arie Barsky and Maor Berger. Since then Arie has completed his M.A. in administration and public policies from the school of business in Ben Gurion University, which allowed him to serve in top positions in different municipal authorities in Israel, as an internal auditor and government assigned accountant to several municipalities and public companies.
Arie is also a senior lecturer for public administration and business enterprise in several academic institutes.
Maor graduated from the school of economics in Bar Ilan University and holds a B.A. in economics and accounting. Maor has deep knowledge in financial bodies’ auditing and served as an internal auditor in academic institutions, as well as a chairman of the audit committee of numerous public entities and NPO’s.
Shmuel Schwartz has a PhD in business administration, MBA from tel Aviv University and a B.A in economics, accounting and sociology from Haifa University.
Shmuel served in very high ranked positions in different insurance groups and financial institutions. He served as a Chief internal auditor, CFO and executive VP in one of the biggest insurance groups, CFO and chief accountant in American Israeli Bank and head of the board of directors in an investment bank.
How we can help
Our firm puts an emphasis on giving immediate and professional solutions to correcting structural, accounting, operational, and computerised deficiencies and failures arising from the audit. We also help clients to improve existing working procedures, writing procedures and implementation in their organisations.
The way we work
The firm employs professional and skilled people experienced in Israeli accounting standards, including the governmental accounting standards, IFRS, taxation specialists and highly trained Certified Information system analysts (CISA).
In addition, the firm employs several employees with high security clearance, which allows them to carry out projects in governmental and ministry of defence bodies.
